Sea Mist is an ocean front beach house located on North Carolina's Outer Banks in the quaint village of Duck. The house resides in a private community at the end of a cul-de- sac. Unrivaled ocean views from the decks and this nautical-themed home makes for the perfect beach vacation. A private walkway leads you from the house to the dune deck and a beautiful beach (consistently ranked as one of America's best). The warm summer waves invite you to swim where the dolphins play. Crowning Seamist is a 'crows nest' where morning coffee, sunset cocktails, or star-gazing is at its best. Cook on the deck's gas grill or take a short walk to the Village of Duck for great shopping, restaurants and sport rentals. Inside, an ample great room boast a rope-swing, plush furnishings, high speed Internet access, well-equipped kitchen, TV's with premium stations, VCR, DVD, answering machine, etc. Two master BRs face the ocean. Both have queen beds and ceiling fans. The 'bunk-room' sleeps four and the fourth bedroom has two comfortable twin beds. On the lower level is a gameroom with foosball, air hockey, and more. Many guests return year after year.

Extra amenities are included: There are so many extras that have not been discussed. The house is built on pilings and has a game room and play area underneath. There is a Nags Head hammock and lots of sand toys. Also included are wave riding boards, skim boards and beach chairs. A ground-level Pirate's Den - which is screened on one side - is a perfect place for a cool drink at the bar and a game of cards out of the sun.The laundry room - with a washer and dryer - is also located down here. Outside this area is a shuffle board court and long drive way with four off-street parking spaces. There is an enclosed outside shower next to the laundry room. The main deck has deck furniture - dinning table, six chairs, two loungers and two small tables. A high chair and port-a-crib is also provided. The lower deck also has a table and four chairs, a water hand-pump and large potted flowers. So much to see and do: With the beach in front of you and great shopping, restaurants and a park within walking distance, you may not want to get into your car to explore the many exciting places on the Outer Banks. There are four great lighthouses that are worth seeing - the Currituck Beach Lighthouse in Corolla, Bodie Island Lighthouse, Cape Hatteras Lighthouse and Ocracoke Island Lighthouse which you have to take a ferry to get to the island. The Whalehead Club and Wildlife Educational Center are interesting. The site of the first airplane flight by the Wright brothers is a National Park in Kill Devil Hills. The park displays replicas of the original Wright Flyer. Jockey's Ridge, the tallest sand dune on the east coast is in Nags Head. Climbing to the top to view the sunset over the sound is memorable. Keep driving south on Rt. 12 and you reach Cape Hatteras National Seashore and Oregon Inlet. A visit to the Manteo Waterfront and the Elizabethan Gardens is also a great trip.
